Sunset on the Empire by JSP92
I took this shot within an hour of landing in New York. I seen that it was going to be a glorious sunset and I booked the tickets for the "Top of the Rock" on my phone in the limo to the Hotel. I dropped the bags at the Hotel, printed the tickets and ran. I thought we were going to miss the sunst because of all the security checks, but got in just in time to take this. It was well worth it, as this is almost exactly the scene I was met with, I promise I have not touched the saturation sliders on this, just tweaked the contrast and sharpness a little. I should also add that I shot this hand held leaning on a wall as they don't allow tripods up there, I would prefer it to be a little sharper, but Im not complaining! http://flic.kr/p/BzJ3mf
