Glitter, Confetti and Loads of Bubbly = the Perfect New Year’s Eve
If ever there were an evening so deserving of all the glitter, confetti and champagne, it would be this one. Take a cue from Viva L’Event NC + V+T Photography and celebrate New Year’s Eve in the most sparkly of ways. Because the best is yet to come dears. And if you over do it, this hair of the dog should do the trick tomorrow morning. Cheers to 2017!
Requirements for a fabulous New Year’s Eve Gala are glitter, confetti and lots of bubbly, all of which were the inspiration when we were planning on ringing in the New Year! We wanted our guests to feel like they were attending an elegant house party inside the walls of The Merrimon-Wynne House.
As you walked through each room, something sparkly caught your eye. Upstairs we had a “bubbly room” where you could find a champagne bar to spruce up your glass with different fruits and juices.
Next door was a “dessert room” filled with all kinds of bite sized sweet treats. Across the hall was a “Mule Bar” where guests could choose from a Mexican, Kentucky or Moscow Mule!
A photobooth was set up under our entryway chandelier with props and a big bowl of confetti meant to be thrown into the air.
Dancing took place under a sea of balloons intertwined around the twinkling chandeliers. We created a Resolution Board where guests were asked to share their new years eve resolutions. Once the countdown began, party hats, noise makers and confetti were handed out to each guests.
As the clock struck 12, confetti cannons bursted through the dance floor and “Happy New Year” was shouted throughout the house.
