ASOS is now selling jeans with completely exposed thighs

A pair of jeans designed to mimic the look of stocking suspenders now exists. Sold by ASOS, the high-waisted jeggings feature two large, circular cutouts on both legs, one on the inside and one on the outside of the upper thigh.
The unconventional denim look, available only in black, is a steal at $28, but, as Mashable reported, it may not be the most comfortable to wear.
Mashable pointed out the placement of these thigh cutouts isn't ideal for thigh chafing.
Just last month, retailer Pretty Little Thing even went viral after it started selling $12 "anti-chafing bands," a pair of bands that you wear over your thighs to prevent any chafing that may occur. At the time, social media users called the product a "lifesaver" and declared that their "prayers had been answered."
For what it's worth, thigh cutout jeans are far from the wildest denim look to surface over the past year. In the past two months alone, the internet has been baffled by a $590 pair of mesh panel jeans, a $385 pair of upside-down shorts, and a $1,217 layered denim shirt dress.
ASOS did not immediately respond to INSIDER's request for comment.
